January 2025 - 3 Generations together in the Lions.

Pictured at our January meeting is our new recruit Tallie Meager receiving her membership certificate by Zone Chairman Mark Cooper. Tallie is the 3rd member of her family to join Farnborough & Aldershot Lions Club. Her Mum - Hannah (2nd from the right) joined Aldershot Lions Club in August 2022 and was inducted into the Lions family by Mark Cooper when he was President of Fleet Lions Club. Carol Cross (pictured far right) joined Aldershot Lions when it first formed 12 years ago. We welcome Tallie into the family of Lions and celebrate the fact we have 3 generations of her family working with us to help others in our community.

Lions Information stand at Farnborough Rugby Club

September 2024

Members of Farnborough & Aldershot Lions Club held an information stand at Farnborough Rugby Club's Careers Event in September, organised by Rushmoor Borough Council as an opportunity for local organisations to introduce and promote themselves to the local community. There were roughly another six organisations present including suicide prevention , mother & toddler groups etc. however just before the event start the heavens opened (torrential rain / thunder and lightning) and as a consequence nobody turned up. We were, however, able to provide the other groups with some idea of what we were all about. Most were very interested in the Lions Community Store.
